Now you and your dog can both kick back enjoy a cold home-brew after a hard day's work. Beer-bones are unique dog bones made with REAL beer grains. While we won't really give our best friend our beer bottle, we will throw them a bone.
Beer-bones started as a little company in the small one-man brewery of AMUK Brewing in the Midwest. As Ryan brewed beer with his faithful dog, Cohiba, at his side, he started wondering about recycling some of the grains to create a natural dog treat.
Armed with some beer grains and a dog-shaped cookie cutter (his girlfriend's idea), he created the first batch of Beer-bones. Cohiba loved them, and soon Ryan made a batch every time he brewed beer to give to family and friends. They were such a hit that Ryan and his faithful best friend decided to share these treats with every dog.
Dogs will wag their tail, roll over and keep begging for more Beer-bones. And remember: not only are they eating something homemade, it is "green" and Earth-friendly since Ryan includes grains already used in his brewery.
